Smooth OptiCore LED Light Bulbs, Multicolor Twinkle

These are nice and bright and the flashing is very consistent. Others I have bought were off more than on when flashing. Well worth buying quality stuff.

Looks good, Great twinkle

These bulbs are as bright and of the same color as the classic C-7 incandescent bulbs that used to be ubiquitous. At just 0.84 watts per bulb (and that is only when on, so a string will be using less kwh) you can put a lot on one string without fear of overloading. I used these, along with Yard Envy wire, sockets, and plugs to make customized light strings for the exact length of my gutter. The bulbs have a randomization of on/off intervals, they all start in sync then within a few minutes they are all seemingly blinking independently. It's a really nice effect. I used a whole string of these twinkle bulbs but it would also work to have some mixed in with a string of fixed light bulbs. They are very sturdy and continue work even after I dropped a few onto the walkway. The colors are fixed inside the bulb and will not fade over time. I expect to get many Christmas seasons of use from these bulbs. Pricey, but worth it to have something pretty unique in your neighborhood.
